The PT100-9 is a tri-clamp liquid-tight Platinum Resistance Thermometer (PT100 RTD) engineered for reliable and accurate temperature measurement in sanitary and process environments where a secure, leak-proof connection is essential. The sensor features a stainless steel flanged tri-clamp fitting that forms a robust liquid-tight seal, making it ideally suited for food processing, dairy, brewing, pharmaceutical, and chemical applications where hygiene and contamination prevention are paramount. The probe is constructed from stainless steel and is available in three diameters (4 mm, 5 mm, and 6 mm) with probe lengths of 30 mm, 40 mm, or 50 mm, all of which can be customised to meet specific installation requirements. Lead wire material is fully selectable — stainless steel braid, silicone, fiberglass, or Teflon — allowing the sensor to be matched to the thermal and chemical conditions of the surrounding environment. Lead wire length is available in 2 m, 3 m, or 5 m. The “-TC” suffix in the ordering code designates the tri-clamp liquid-tight connection, clearly distinguishing this series from standard probe-type RTDs.

The TC-K14B is a fast-response K-type thermocouple engineered for applications where rapid, accurate temperature measurement is essential. Unlike conventional sheathed thermocouples, the TC-K14B features an exposed welded-bead junction with minimal thermal mass, enabling it to detect temperature changes within fractions of a second. This makes it the preferred choice for dynamic temperature monitoring tasks in research, testing, and industrial quality control environments. The sensor is constructed from a fine-gauge Chromel-Alumel (K-type) thermocouple wire pair, twisted together and insulated with a flexible fiberglass braid. The green-and-white color coding of the lead wire follows the international K-type thermocouple standard, providing clear polarity identification. The fiberglass insulation offers excellent thermal resistance and flexibility, allowing the sensor to be routed through confined spaces and around complex geometries without risk of insulation damage. At the instrument end, the TC-K14B is fitted with a standard miniature K-type quick-disconnect connector (green housing, labeled 'K NiCr+ / NiAl−'), which is compatible with a wide range of handheld thermometers, data loggers, and temperature indicators that accept the IEC 60584 / ANSI miniature thermocouple connector standard. The plug-and-play design eliminates the need for field wiring, enabling rapid deployment and sensor replacement without tools or specialist knowledge. The lead wire length is fully customizable, making the TC-K14B adaptable to installations where the measurement point is located at a significant distance from the instrument. As part of the PIDMaxWell range of temperature measurement solutions, the TC-K14B is designed to integrate seamlessly with PIDMaxWell PID temperature controllers, temperature transmitters, and compatible third-party instrumentation.
