-The transmitter is able to pick up the temperature from the temperature sensor and directly transmit the tempreature value to master device like PLC or HMI, for example, if you connect a type K sensor to the transmitter and the sensor is pointed to an object with 100 degree temperature, the HMI or PLC is able to receive the temperature reading directly from the transmitter, unlike 4-20mA temperature transmitter, the temperature from the sensor will have to be converted to 4-20mA signal and then transmitted to HMI and PLC, from the HMI and PLC, the 4-20mA analog signal will have to be converted to temperature reading so that the operator can check the temperature, for TT-510 transmitter, the temperature value is reflected directly to HMI or PLC without the A/D, D/A conversion involved. instead, it is transmitted via Modbus RS-485

TT-510 is a hocky puck head mount temperature transmitter with RS-485 modbus RTU communication. below is a video tutorial on the communication demostration, we are using Modscan32 to simulate the master device to communication with the TT-510, below is the configuration on the Modscan 32

below is a demo on the communication, you can see that the number of polls generate from the Modscan 32 and number of polls received from the transmitter, the first addres 0001 is for process value, we connect a type K sensor to the transmitter, at the begining of the video, the temperature reads at 33.7 celcius degree, moment later, we dip the temperature sensor into a couple of hot water.  the process value increase after that. you may see it on the video.



-Below is a video tutorial on how to use our PC configuration software for TT-510 head mounted RS-485 modbus temperature transmitter, you can change the address, communication baud rate and parity configuration from the software, the factory default of the setting as below

Baud rate: 9600
Parity: N

You can change address of the transmitter from 1 to 2, or any number from 1 to 254, and change the baud rate to 19200, and change the parity from N ot ODD or EVEN.
